PARTICIPATE

Government Participation in the Rx Response program is free and can dramatically enhance an emergency manager and public health official’s ability to help ensure the public’s access to critical medicine following a major disaster. Rx Response currently works with public health officials and/or emergency managers throughout the federal government and in all 50 states during both disasters and non-disaster periods. At the federal level, Rx Response works closely with HHS’s Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPER), FEMA’s National Business Emergency Operation Center (NBEOC) and DHS’s Healthcare Sector Coordinating Council. Rx Response also works closely with the FDA and the CDC.

In the private sector, Rx Response works closely with all members of the bio-pharmaceutical supply chain, the American Red Cross and the Institute of Medicine’s Forum on Medical and Public Health Preparedness for Catastrophic Events.
